I wonder how the hairpiece ended up there. Did it fall quietly from the head and land delicately on the sidewalk? Did it pop off like a booster rocket and fly through the air before landing with a thud? Did a squirrel sneak into an apartment, fall madly in love, steal the Object of Affection, only to abandon the OoA in the middle of the hustle and bustle when something more shiny came along?
